When I first got there I got Rio and we sat down and had a few snacks on the couch. She was cleaning her feathers showing her beautiful colors and under feathers. Then we decided to do the bird chores including changing all the water and giving them food and veggies! I opened the cage so very slightly and BOOM three birds fly out. Rio starts laughing at me and I ask her what to do and she says calmness and patience. So that’s what exactly what I did. One of them flew in all on there own and the other two flew around for a while before I had to get the net. Super stealthy I caught the two other birds put the spinach and water in and hung out with Rio a bit longer. 🙂
