There was a lot of activity in the woods as we walked in the rain. Squirrels scampered up and down around us, even as Julian looked straight at them. He posed for a picture and smiled. It was a beautiful smile 🥰 and I asked him what made him smile so. He said something about squirrels being a sign of spring but then I gave him a cookie and the reason for the smile became self-evident laughing friend
