More progress this afternoon in my quest to make friends with Bella. She was more interactive with me, and so I crouched down beside her and let her get as close as she wanted to, exploring my shoes, my pocket,my phone, etc. When we returned inside, she rewarded me with a couple hops against my leg, telling me she really wanted to play. But when I threw the toy for her, she remembered herself again. But I can see the playfulness in her eyes. Maybe next time?🤞
