Lindsay and Jamie had been hogging all of Max’s visits lately, so I penciled myself in for a couple of evening visits. I knew I don’t have to bribe Max, but I had every intention of spoiling him rotten. From the fancy presentation of his heated dinner, peppered with an extra treat, he knew we were in for a good time. 🙂 We spent some time in the backyard before dinner, but with his leg feeling better he wanted to get out of the house for a bit. I wanted to check out the trail, but Just getting there was too long of a walk for him in his condition. To save time and effort, we hopped in the car and drove the quarter mile to the trail entrance. Once there we barely made it out of the parking lot. Max was having too much fun intently sniffing every spot for every shred of news and gossip. 🥰 He took care of business and it was semi-solid, and he got tired quickly. We headed back for some snuggles and treats. I can’t wait to see him again tonight! 😀
