WheneverI walk Julian, knowing how much he loves when unexpected things cross our path, I always keep one eye forward, and one eye back. That way, when I see something coming, I can work on getting Julie to focus on me (and the treats in my hand) instead of whatever is coming our way.With the great weather this morning, everybody was out and so our walk quickly turned into a distraction training session 😛 four joggers, two squirrels, and three dogs(one of them loose in his front yard so we quickly did a U-turn) gave us plenty of opportunity to practice. And Julian was a star.⭐️ well, except for the dog who was jogging with his owner, but come on! That’s like a double distraction! And all Julian did was voice his displeasure before I was able to get his focus back on me and the treats in my hand. I called this a win!🐶🐾💕
