Maxwell did so good staying in his place as I made my way in the house! We started our fun with the usual laps in front of the house. He peed and had a healthy poop 🥳
He seemed more relaxed on this visit. Since he loves to be rewarded with attention after a lap or so I take some time to pet him. He was super mellow and leaning into my leg and just made my heart melt 🥰
I had Sarah come out of the car and we walked around each room other and he did incredible !! He was SO excited to see her and would control himself, he even started sniffing the ground !! That’s a huge win 🙌
Way to step it up, Maxwell !! We tried to have her approach but his threshold holds strong about 5 feet before he tries to get up and go. It’s so challenging to not react when you are as happy as Maxwell ! Overall he did awesome at ignoring her as we kept our distance walking around the driveway.
We finally got to our game of fetch and I was able to take a little video of the end of our game. He is SO smart !! He did great at sitting and dropping his toy on command before he was ready for his water break.
The few minutes we had left we did another walk around with the long leash , he peed again and then brought him in for his pat time in the chair before going in the crate .😀🐾
