Kenzie is getting Hands-On time with Julian. She had his routine down, but despite all the time with him she hadn’t seen him get over excited. Finally, yesterday I thought she would see him react to a dog lounging off leash in her yard. He barely gave her a glance- she looked just like Bagel. Yet a few minutes later a man jogging with a lab set him off. Kenzie kept him on a short leash, distracted him with treats and handled it like a pro. To his credit, Julian settled down quickly, more interested in treats then tricks. 🥰 On our way back past white golden Kenzie shortened the leash again but Julian still had no beef. I still think he’s not reactive so much as he thinks he’s Bat-dog… 🦇
