A super walk on this lovely Saturday! They easily let me put on their harnesses and we headed out. They walked very well at the beginning and stopped when I instructed them to when cars were coming by. There was indeed more traffic due to the eastford transfer station being open this morning. We had a distraction as we turn the corner to go up the side road, there was a dog outside the house on the corner and Riley was quite interested in him but bones did well at ignoreing him. I redirected them by pulling them together with the bungee and walked forward up the hill , they were good. On the way back they did great, there was long stretches where the leash was slack as they walked leisurely together. They did so well I let them take a dip in the water. I wiped their feet when we got home, bones is fine with me touching his feet but not Riley she doesn’t like me to touch them. However she was good too and it was a great walk.
