Jasper, freshly back from boarding school, was eager to cut loose and was disappointed to learn the same rules apply. Disappointed, but not surprised. He settled reluctantly but faster than before, chewed on me, but less than before. We went for a mostly unrestricted walk – he had business to take care of and I had no interest in playing tug of leash on an ice-covered street. But with all his freedom, Jasper ventured up on a snow bank or two but never got far enough to actually pull the leash. 🤩 A good boy through and through. We worked some more on “place” when we got back. You’d think his mat was a bed of nails the way he avoided lying down and staying still 😆 But patience and perseverance win out. Im just not sure if it was mine or his 🙂
