I got a warm greeting from Saga and Mav and Kari when I arrived, but Corey and the ratties were too busy snoozing away to get too worked up. We took it easy until dinner, and much the same after. Corey has no interest in being outside any longer than necessary. Medicine time for Athena was, as you said, squirmy. We’d try and try and take a break and play. Try and try and take a break. Eventually I got her chin down and the dropper lined up and in it went. She wasn’t even mad since she got a yogurt drop after. And her pals were glad for some attention of their own after all that. By morning we were all ready to kick our sleepover into high gear. After a nutritious breakfast (I wont lie, there were cookies involved) 😆the pups and I trudged through the gorgeous snowy woods behind the house for awhile. Then it was time for ‘thena’s meds, but I couldn’t get any out! Instead we all played and cuddled for a bit. She seemed in a pretty good mood. 🥰 Afterwards I settled into Kari’s office to do some work while she supervised from my shoulder. And the whole time that feeling of being watched as Mav sits carefully outside… 😊 It’s a party, but with all the joy and laughter around here, these guys are the cure for everything. ❤️
