Even though we started a little early, it was already very muggy out. There was an electrician in the house, and Julian very much wanted to help. So by the time we got outside it was obvious Julian wasn’t having it. We did our normal walk, Julian under protest 😆 but about halfway through I took pity on him and turned around. It was still way too early so we went towards the cul-de-sac and that killed a few more minutes. Each time we passed the house. Julian begged with his eyes, and I remembered from my school days that the greatest thing was when the teacher let you go early. I’m not Julian’s teacher, I’m his friend and I was more than happy to oblige.
