Today was a day for rotating walks as the workers were in. Gus was a little frightened of the two trucks out front but with a little verbal encouragement he bravely walked by. We stayed on the trail today for all three walks just in case the workers needed something or to be safe with the other two being left behind.
Jake went second and was very curious about the woodpecker working in the trees above. We had a nice easy walk and explored among the rocks before returning home.
Jada took the last walk and was very eager to be on her way. I had to harness her in the backyard (because the workers were in the kitchen by then) and I could not get her harness on for whatever reason so I opted to just use Jake’s instead. She walked like a champ with it so all was well. She went at an eager pace and we managed two circles around the trail before heading home.
The workers finished up just as we returned – perfect timing – so all doggies returned to their places with treats for such good behavior.
