All the dogs love Social Club because they get to see their friends and learn how to be dogs from other dogs (instead of people). But that doesn’t mean they don’t all have individual agendas. Packer wants everyone to keep up and play follow the leader. If he gets too far ahead he turns and waits and I swear he taps his foot impatiently. 😂 Oliver wants to sniff everything, twice. His snoot tells him stories the others miss but he’s always nice enough to let the others know when there’s juicy gossip around. Lucy and Jasper just want to go in the water. Well, also Lucy wants Jasper to be interested in her. He on the other hand still thinks he’s a little puppy (he’s 70#) and wants to compare himself against the big boys. Look how big my mouth is! Is your mouth this big? Look how big my paws are! Can you swat like this? And despite his size Ollie and Packer treat him like a puppy, tolerating his exhuberance with a huff and a knowing smirk. Sometimes it doesn’t really matter what each of them want, as long as they’re together. And the woods smile when they are.
