Jasper was crazy as usual when I arrived and took about 5 minutes to even settled down enough to get his Halo collar off and get him leashed. He sat very reluctantly by the dirt and constantly tried to chew on the leash. We got outside and I got him in one of my harnesses, and I don’t know what happened but he instantly became and absolute angel. He walked at a heel for 15 minutes, barely ever tugging, not getting distracted by Marilyn or other dogs. No biting at the leash. I could hardly believe the change from walking him during social walks. Once we turned around he got the full leash and we practiced recall when he lagged behind. One “come” and he would finish up withing 3 seconds and head right back to me. He understood the mode we were in and he was fully engaged. So proud! 🥰
