Bentley took all of 30 seconds to remember me and come in for scratches and to get dressed. Bandit played his keep-away game, barking and wagging his tail. But getting him leashed without stressing him out, that used to take 10 minutes. This time we flirted for a few minutes, had some treats, and were pals again in no time. The walk was great. They want to eat the grass so much, but it’s gross with chemicals and they don’t know what chemicals are. I’m surprised they can’t taste them. Instead, after their walk they got a delicious homemade breakfast, fresh water, and rice cakes for desert. They settled down and went to their rooms without complaint. They are such sweet pups, and I appreciate their trust more than they know. 🥰
