I was very encouraged by Mickey’s progress today, especially around sitting when I stop. Once he’s reminded he sits and stays pretty well while I’m standing. Getting him to stay while I walk away (like to open/close the gate) is a work in progress. He gets it but needs a lot of practice before he accepts that’s the way it has to be. Got some nice practice just sitting near the entrance of Walgreens too. He’s very curious about people and cars and other dogs, but I haven’t seen him be aggressive or misbehave yet. Look how far away I am when taking the picture and he’s just sitting. And what a sweetheart!
