What a fun day today with Jasper!!! He’s such a blast!

When I got here today he was very excited so I waited a moment at the door and let him calm down, he got as calm as he was going to, as he was very high energy today, more than I’ve seen him. He did follow direction and go place for some treats but with leaps the whole way over 🤣

I noticed his paw was not wrapped so I didn’t put booties on in case it would irritate his injury putting them on and cause him pain. We put his jacket on and off we went! He had a blast and somehow always manages to bury his nose as deeply into the snow as possible. ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ He even found a stick on our stroll today! He was very proud! When we were coming down the driveway, I’m learning his behaviors and he knows he’s going inside and he’s not a fan. He knows any trick to pull to try and stay out and play but I told him momma has strict orders because she loves you and wants you to heal and be healthy!!! The tricks though I tell yah he is very smart. He reminds me of my toddler who try’s to manipulate me to get what she wants but it’s just ingrained in them! Truly very interesting! He was pulling the leash like tug of war to his play spot in the yard to lure me over there. He’s a smart boy! After our pep talk though he came right inside.

Once inside we got dried off and checked his paws. There was no blood and he seemed happy and comfortable. He even turned over to show you his paw because he wanted his momma to have peace of
mind! We snuggles for sooo long it was extremely hard to leave him today he is such a snuggle bug!!!!! He was calm and mellow by the time I left which is always so nice to see. I’m sure he’s sleeping now and dreaming of the snow banks ⛄️ ❄️ 😴
