Meme was amazing! She was very good on the leash along the road. Once we got on the trail I let her on the retractable so she had more freedom to run around. We didn’t make it all the way around. We got to a brook and it seemed like a good turning point for our first sojourn. We had a few minutes to spare on the way back and we walked down Walker Pond and met a puppy hanging out in his yard! He (she?) and Meme pranced and played for a few minutes happily sniffing and behaving very well. I am so glad I get to spend more time with her next week!
