Winnie & I love our hikes on the trails in the woods. She is the best guide! She knows all the trails by heart, so I know we will never lose our way and get lost. I know walking in the woods, there is always a chance to run into other creatures such as bears, deer, squirrels, etc and when we hear a noise, we pause and look around. Today she stopped dead in her tracks looked ahead and growled. I of course took that as we should not take that path. It could have just been the neighbor’s dog, I couldn’t see anything ahead of us. But she did and I respect and trust her. So we quickly took another path with no other disturbances and had a wonderful walk exploring and having some awesome zoomies in a clearing on the way back home. She is my hero!
