I thought I was just taking care of 2 cats, but it turns out I’m also caring for a menagerie of dozens of beautiful wild birds! I thought I’d be overwhelmed but everything is labeled and clear and easy… When I walked out this morning to hang the feeders, there was a LINE. They were WAITING (and a little impatient with me!) 😂 I found myself more than once just standing amazed at the variety and interactions. I can see why Jane was equally enthralled. Of course the kitties are the main course, and after feeding/cleaning Jane and I had a blast playing. To be honest she was more into the petting and cuddling than the play, but she humored me nicely. 🥰 Bandit was nice at first and then went back to his grouchy self, but honestly, who’s in a good mood at 7 in the morning?!? 😆
