Wonderful day with the kids yesterday! DJ came out of his shell, hope had a full appetite, and Sonia was happy and playful. I took the girls for a long walk in the afternoon and we found the little league field nearby. We snickered at the no dogs allowed sign and didn’t linger too long. It was a beautiful afternoon with lots of squirrels and doggy friends to say hello to. We slept downstairs, full of food and fresh air, snuggling tight against the chill of the night. Both girls were hungry and eager for breakfast, and when we went out for our walk supplemented it with a little wet grass salad. Seems like they’re making good choices all around! 🙂
