Some friends I don’t get to see that often, and when I do, they get really excited. 🥳 Of course they have to be calm for me to engage, but once they are and we’re greeting, they tell me just how much they missed me. That was the case with Maddy. She was great at holding her excitement until appropriate, but then she was literally bouncing off the walls. 😂 We quickly made our way to the yard, and I asked her to pose for a picture. You can kind of tell that she wasn’t much interested in sitting, but she did. We played, we pet each other, and I tried not to tickle her as I luxuriated in her coat. She has the silkiest fur I’ve ever felt on a golden. So she can lean into me any day.
