The perfect Saturday!

The girls and I took advantage of the weekend in full glorious sunshine. We started ambitious, a big breakfast, a big walk, but by mid-morning we decided that doing nothing was just the right speed for us. There was plenty of lounging in the yard, watching the world go by. There was a sing-a-long with DK. There were naps aplenty. And when well rested, Sonya and I chased each other around the house like children while Hope gave us looks like we were SOOO immature. I think she was just jealous. At night I ordered pizza, and I may or may not have gotten the girls their own order of chicken. They sat with me in the living room, definitely not begging, just waiting patiently for their turn to enjoy the feast. These girls are very well behaved, and of course they deserve their rewards! We ended the night on the couch with a movie, Sonya’s head resting on my chest. I couldn’t have asked for better company on a sunny Saturday.
